A lot has happened since the company was founded in 1976. From a small start-up, supported by a renowned local construction machinery manufacturer, we have grown into a broad-based, solid company that manufactures technically sophisticated hydraulic cylinders for a wide range of applications and an international clientele.

We support our customers with our broad know-how in cylinder manufacturing build up in over 40 years as a reliable partner for customised hydraulic cylinders for all areas of application in which high technical requirements and functional safety are paramount. We supply 100% tested quality products. Delivery reliability and customer service are our be-all and end-all. Many long-standing customers at home and abroad can confirm this.

Our Focus

We mainly manufacture small to medium-sized series of cylinders with a piston diameter in the range of 100 – 350 mm. With our continuously modernised machinery, we can produce cylinders with a piston diameter of up to 600 mm and an installation length of 8000 mm. The focus is always on the special requirements and needs of our customers in terms of material, processing and specific design solutions.

Design and planning

Every successful project begins with detailed and precise planning. Our customers receive advice, design and production from a single source. Working closely together, we determine the specific requirements that the hydraulic cylinder must meet in terms of size, force and stroke in order to fulfil the customer’s needs.

We make the most of our strategic edge in design expertise and material knowledge for the benefit of our customers, using sophisticated mechanical design software such as Solid Edge and managing the product from a PDM/ PLD perspective with Solidrules.

Production Area

The production department is the heart of the company and the largest area of the plant. HIDROMEC constantly invests in new technologies for the production area to ensure that we provide an industry leading product and service. Therefor we equip the production area with the latest technologies available on the market in order to carry out all machining operations in such a way that we can fully guarantee the quality of the finished cylinder.
