Hydraulic engineering is characterised by hydraulic applications that operate in very demanding areas with a high risk of wear: River dams, locks and weirs require cylinders that are operational under water. The use of piston rods made of stainless steel material and/or rods with NiCr or ceramic coatings are often required for these applications
