According to the different applications for which they are intended, all cylinders can be manufactured in several versions:

• head and base screwed (HK)
• base welded and head screwed (HM)
• with adjustable end cushioning
• with mounting systems for cylinder body and piston rod according to ISO or other specific standards.

Hidromec offers solutions perfectly tailored to every type of operating environment, including aggressive ones, through the careful selection of raw materials and surface treatments. We use high-strength materials, such as various types of high-grade steel, to ensure robustness and lightweight performance where needed. Additionally, we apply special surface treatments, such as anti-corrosion coatings and nickel plating, black oxide (bluing), and phosphating, to enhance the durability and resistance of cylinders in extreme operating conditions.

On request, the cylinders can be equipped with control valves and electronic devices such as

• Flange or cartridge control valves for installation in the base of the cylinder
• proximity sensors
• linear displacement sensors

During the production process, each hydraulic cylinder undergoes a meticulous series of fully documented checks to ensure that the materials of every single component, the machining processes, and the dimensional and treatment characteristics conform to the specifications provided by the customer and/or defined in the cylinder development project. Every stage of the production process is carefully monitored to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision, in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and EN9100:2018 certifications.

At the end of the assembly process, all hydraulic cylinders are individually tested and subjected to rigorous hydraulic tests in accordance with ISO 10100:2020 acceptance standards. These stringent tests include checks for pressure, tightness, and overall functionality, ensuring that each cylinder fully meets performance and reliability requirements. The tests are designed to simulate real operating conditions, guaranteeing that the cylinders perform flawlessly even in the most demanding applications.

For each hydraulic cylinder, we issue a corresponding certificate of conformity, attesting to full compliance with the required technical specifications. Additionally, we provide a detailed hydraulic test certificate documenting the results of the checks performed and confirming the cylinder’s suitability for its intended use. Upon request, we can carry out internal First Article Inspections (FAI) or arrange inspections with external inspectors for even more thorough and independent verification.
