By connecting 2, 3 or even 4 cylinders with the same diameter and stroke in series, it is possible to achieve a greater thrust force than with conventional cylinders.

Tandem Cylinders
In this type of cylinder, two or more cylinders are connected to each other. For example, as shown in the illustration, the piston rod of the first cylinder can be connected to the piston of the second.
